Introducing our 2025 foals
In 2025, KVS welcomed 12 new foals: seven colts and five fillies, all healthy, strong and full of personality. (Looking at you, Vortex.) The twelve newcomers represent all our foundation brood mare lines, as well as foals from several new mares. Ten of the foals are sired from stallions in the VDL studbook, including international stars Glasgow van’t Merelsnest (Nations Cup winner), Hardrock Z (2016 Olympian), Harley VDL (VHO Trophy winner), Comthago (Ommen Grand Prix winner) and Arezzo VDL (Vestfold and Odense Grand Prix winner), and up-and-coming young stallions New Pleasure VDL, Sambucci de Muze and Mindset ES.
We also have a foal each from two exciting young stallions standing at West Peak Farms in Alberta: Magnum Z (2017 Carrera VDL x Zirocco Blue) and Picobello S (a striking 2020 United Touch son).
